Top 15 all time lowest totals in ODI

Cricket has always been an unpredictable game.

Sometimes teams can amass huge totals on board while the other day they can crumble down in pieces.

As it is said batsmen always have an advantage. But sometimes bowlers also prove to be match winners.

Some new records are created and broken every other match but there are some records which no team would like to touch.

Here we look at one record which caused embarrassment to batsmen and bowlers had their share of joy.

Zimbabwe hold West Indies to tie the match

It was the 34th Tie in ODI's, 5th for Zimbabwe, 9th for West Indies and the first one between the two. 

What a game of cricket it was, quite amazing. 

Zimbabwe batting first put up a respectable score of 257 all-out on board in their 50 overs. Craig Ervine scored 92 and Sikandar Raza scored 77. They had a 144 run partnership for the third wicket after they were in trouble at 48/2 in 14 overs. Carlos Brathwaite scalped 4 wickets for 48 runs.

West Indies came out to bat thinking they should win it. They started not so well though, and were reduced to 58/2. Then Shai Hope put up a 162 run stand with Kraigg Braithwaite for the 3rd wicket. Hope scored his 2nd ODI hundred.

It looked like West Indies will comfortably cross the border line, but credit to Zimbabwe, who crawled their way back into the game. Some quick wickets for Zimbabwe and they were right back in it.

Tiripano who took two wickets and had a hand in a run-out was given the last over of the game. West Indies needed 2 runs off the last two balls. They took a single on the penultimate delivery.
Skipper Jason Holder was facing the last ball, Tiripano bowled the delivery which missed the bat of Holder and was in keeper's gloves, they ran for a bye, but keeper Moor was alert and got his throw right, hitting the stumps and restrain West Indies from the win.

Zimbabwe really showed the fighting spirit and their spirit didn't go in vain as they managed to tie the game.
West Indies finished on 257/8.

And we witnessed one amazing game of cricket.
