Plane Crash carrying Brazilian Football Club Chapecoense death toll revised to 71

According to reports officials have lowered the death toll for the plane crash in Colombia involving Chapecoense to 71.


Officials lowered the count to 71 after finding out that 4 players did not board the flight.

It was evident that the plane carrying Chapecoense players and some journalists, crashed on Monday night in remote locations in Colombian mountains, with only six survivors.

The first team members were travelling to Medellin, to play the first leg of Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional. Several photos were circulated across the social media, showing the players and other people on board, as they looked really happy.

After the crash reports, players and clubs from every corner of the world send their tributes, and offered help, in whatever way they could.

This tragic incident left everyone heartbroken. All smiles turned into grim faces.
