Results- World Cup Qualifiers

UEFA

Germany crushed San Marino 8-0 in a Group C encounter,  with debutant Serge Gnabry scoring a hat trick. It was first hat trick in 40 years for any debutant for Germany.

While Czech Republic were 2-1 winners against Norway and Northern Ireland scored 4 past Azerbaijan.


England were comfortable 3-0 winners against Scotland in Group F, with Daniel Sturridge,, Adam Lallana and Gary Cahill getting on the score sheet. Wayne Rooney provided one assist.

In other Group F matches, Slovenia beat Malta 1-0 away and Slovakia defeated Lithuania 4-0.


France defeated Sweden 2-1 in Group A match, after going a goal behind. Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payer were the scorers.

Poland were away against Romania in Group E. They won 3-0 with Robert Lewandowski scoring a brace. In other match Denmark beat Kazakhstan 4-1 at home. Earlier Armenia defeated Montenegro 3-2.

CONCACAF

In CONCACAF qualification matches, Honduras lost 1-0 at home to Panama. Costa Rica beat Trinidad and Tobago with a score line of 2-0 and USA got trumped by Mexico, losing 2-1.

CAF

In CAF, Libya lost to Tunisia with a score line of 1-0.

OFC

In OFC qualification match, New Zealand won 2-0 against New Caledonia.
