Clash of Brands lands Cristiano Ronaldo in trouble!

Cristiano Ronaldo renewed his contract with Real Madrid last week. The contract that will make him the highest paid athlete in the world and keep him at the club till 2021. Recent performances of Cristiano has made some people question the club decision but it’s in Ronaldo’s genes to prove his haters wrong every time.

The club’s official presentation happened after signing the contract were Ronaldo was seen wearing a glasses. It was a fashion gear and had nothing to do with his eyesight. Little did he know, that it will land him in any sort of trouble. It’s well known that Cristiano Ronaldo is the brand ambassador of Nike and Real Madrid gets sponsored by Adidas.

 The glasses he wore at the event were of Nike brand, and Ronaldo who recently signed a lifetime deal with Nike, was just promoting the brand as their client. But due to club rule of restraining players to promote rival brands at club official events he could potentially be fined for commercial transgression.

But you get the feeling, it won’t happen though.
